It DOES add to the gameplay BECAUSE it's funny! When was the last time you saw thread on these forums about a specific mission/quest/area that the majority of the players spoke of how much fun it was? It's been a pleasure reading it!

Nice, fireballs! I haven't encountered those yet, only the rock and snowballs. First time I saw the snowballs I was a little stunned....until they got me

Great addition!

the funniest part of it when my screen ping i thought there was something up ahead i had to look out for so i retreated right into the rock. yes the rock totally owned me but it was a good chuckle the first time. i had fun dodging the fire balls and thought it was hilarious as the snowmen tried to take me out with the snowball. it is the thing i like best about gwen

It would be cooler if we stuck to the rock and the camera continued to follow the rock and us stuck to it as it rolled through the dungeon.
Could play some fruity music while it's happening too.

Things that strangely enough won't count as a "death" for your survivor:

-Stepping on sulphur.
-Failing a mission.
-Getting pounded by eternally activated, maintanance free security in Faranur.
-Getting sqished by spontaniously spawning giant boulders.

Big Bad Balls are great fun.

Only thing is ... they are kinda everywhere.

You get ice balls.
You get rock balls
You get fire ball.
I wonder if there is electric ball too. Propably there is.

Oh, the gigantic rolling ball of various elemental death is great fun and all, but where are the other cool dungeon-esque traps? I mean, besides the balls and the turrets of equal various elemental death?

Where are the giant swinging blades you have to slalom?

The arrows/darts shooting out of the wall because you stepped on the wrong floor tile?

The falling chandelier of excessive spikey things?

The booby-trapped fake chests?

The pits of various doom (you name it - vipers, spikes, endless pit)?

I mean, there is so much potential when you introduce dungeons, and all we get is turrets and balls. Well, better then nuthin, I s'pose.

Damn! that made me LOL

We initiated first time guildies by making them run up the hill north of Sifhalla (I forget the zone name). We tell them to run right up the center and not to move or they would spawn a huge group of mobs. Then splat... Everyone had a good laugh including the "splatee" after realizing there was no DP or "death" incurred.
